League History

North County Oldtimers Hockey Association The NCOHA was started in 1982 by a group of members who had a passion for playing and coaching hockey. The league has always had 5 teams and was decided to hold a team draft at the beginning of every season to keep the teams fair. This draft would allow members to play with different players each year and keep teams consistent in skill level. Over the years we have lost some members but there are always new ones on the horizon who are looking for a place to come out and play. Our league to this day still has 5 teams with around 90 players split up on the teams. We do not keep records of wins and losses only of good times and great comradery.

The league supplies its own refs for each game and only has a few rules.
